Kingsman
Which presumably means the Saudis are down an M163 somewhere ......... The larger gun on the Toyota isn't a 122. Looking at the shell it's about a 105. It's reminiscent of the upgraded US 105mm howitzer, which had a muzzle brake. The effect of both weapons on the chassis is probably best imagined and not described ..... I wouldn't fire either of them off-axis: whoops, my pickup is on its side! 1

I thought it was a D-30, but you are right.....I guess the Saudis are down an artillery piece too.

Sgt.Squarehead
It seems I got the wrong end of the stick with the two vehicles above.....Apparently they are aligned with the Saudis, fighting against the Houthis. How I mistook those fine fellows for a bunch raggedy-assed mountain outlaws like the Houthis I just can't understand.
Kingsman
I imagine they believed that being allied to or supported by the Saudis might work out better for them in equipment terms than the evidence suggests .....................
Sgt.Squarehead
Yeah, I'd imagine these weren't quite what they had in mind when MBS promised them a SPG and a SPAAG if they'd fight for him.....That'll learn 'em!
