The last one I remember was one run by Mad Steve about 5 or 6 years ago

I still haven't built the m'bike I intended for that GB and I since acquired another m'bike

So I suppose I'm in favour of one

OK - Cool. So how does this work then? Do names keep being added to a list until there becomes enough (if ever) for a vote? Also, can anyone offer to be a Host or does it need to be the person that raises the topic? Cheers

a/ generally the person who raised the subject is the host/leader

usually a second leader gets volunteered

b/ the way most folk do its it to keep a victim... err, a name list in the very first message post

c/ the really hard part; you need to get 30 names onto that list. when there are 30 names it can go into the voting in November. Bump it every so often so it stays fairly fresh, not too often otherwise the Mods will be down on you

d/ I really doubt you'll get 30 names, so it can be converted to a 'shared build' (I think), and that doesn't need to go thru the voting

I've bought a couple of motorbike kits in he last couple of years to sublimate the mid-life need to buy an actual bike.

Please put me down for one Kawasaki Ninja.

So I've been thinking about this GB a little and wondering whether it should be 'Motorbikes and Cars'

Main reason being it would open it up to so many genres across so many decades. Even those who specialise in AFV could possibly look at armoured or 'Officer' type vehicles.

Bikes and Cars rarely seem to make GBs so I thought this might be a chance to capture them all :fingerscrossed:

Any thoughts / objections?

Go on then

I've got a couple of rally cars, a couple of F1 and a couple of bikes so I should be able to find something to catch my attention  :)

You can add my name as well. Do have a Tamiya Kawasaki I think... however, can I clarify a possible grey area - I assume a 1/35 Wehrmacht BMW motorcycle is acceptable but how about a Sd.KFz.222 as an armoured car? Or even more greyer - 1/24 Daisy Duke Jeep Wrangler CJ acceptable but how about 1/35 US Army Jeep or even M1025 Humvee? ...and finally a Ford Transit van definitely not acceptable as is a Kenworth truck as seen on Ice Road Truckers but okay if it's a Ford or Nissan pickup truck?

Hi, I'd love to open this up to Trucks but I've already stretched the original theme. That said, if I'm allowed to and my co-host, Col, has no objections, then why not?!?! 🤞

Add me to the list please. I thinks that the Merc CLK may be over 25% complete but I'm sure that I will find something to do.

You are added

I am in. I have got a few cars in my stash. There is also a Volvo 850 station there from Tamiya I believe.

Cheers,

Cool - Great to be able to add you to the list

All, Just a quick note to apologise for my tardiness in replying. I've been on holiday and I turn off my phone when away  ☺️

Hi Knight_Flyer,

It's a 'YES' to all of the above. Trucks now welcome too
