after using Tamiya Buff for the yellow my dad started to use Tamiya Brown for the second camo colour, using bluetac/uhu patafix for masking and painting it step by step

Some good looking work on what looks like a fairly challenging kit which will build up to a nice result.

Mine arrived last week and, for some unknown reason, promptly installed itself at the top of the stash, so your dad's modelling and your photos will provide me with some ideas about what to look out for.

I had already noted that the booms might require a bit of internal strengthening; it seems I must check my supply of filler too.

Looking forward to making a start when I've cleared the workbench of works in progress.

Cheers.........Rog

Yes, it's a typical short run kit. Nothing really fits good, a lot if sanding and filling, but for sure a unique subject🙂

Hopefully my dad added enough nose weight...

Btw, some modellers pointed out, that the air intake nose part has a molding issue. Looked through the existing pics and saw that the kit's one is correct. Seems the engineers tested a symmetric intake and also this asymmetric piece which the kit has.
