Seamus
Afternoon all, Thought I'd share a selection of images from the last week at Yeovilton, covering the arrivals, showday and departures. Stephen
Those pictures are absolutely fantastic, the first one of the CF-188 especially.
Robert
Great set of photos Shaun. That Merlin looks very moody with that backdrop. Robert
bentwaters81tfw
Lovely photos, but that Yak 38 Forger F-35 is a god awful thing. 2

RidgeRunner
Great shots and examples of fantastic photography "eye". As subjects the stand out for me is the Lithuanian L-39. Martin
hairystick
Superb photos!! I especially like that Merlin shot, with the "ominous" background. Looks like you have had an exciting week.
Eric Mc
Greatr pictures. The pre-shading on the Greek F-16 looks a bit excessive.

Paul J
Gorgeous range of photos!! My faves have to be the RCAF Hornet!!! But I do like the Merlin and the rest. The Merlin seems to have some dark earth painted areas... or is it a trick of the light. The Danish F-16 has smart tail art and the Greek one... well very low viz. French contingent looked impressive. Can imagine Rafales for the RAF! And whats happening to that F-35 thing... its all falling apart!!! I very deeply regret not going now as I had promised myself a 3 hour trip west to the show. Instead I went east and wasted a dull day at a model show instead thanks to some sporting event...

Flemming
Hi Excellent pictures! Dare I ask what kind of glass you are using? Either are you using a 500 or 600mm or the flightline is probably close to the crowdline I'd guess? From quality it doesn't look too cropped. Good job Best regards Flemming

Good job Best regards Flemming All these were taken using my trusty 100-400L Mk II. The Thursday and Friday shots were taken off base where I positioned myself closer to the aircraft. Though I don't doubt the 230m line wasn't breached by the fast jets on the showday there was a feeling that everything was closer. That said, one or two are a sizeable crop... Flemming
Hi Okay then . A 100-400 mk II. I have the ageing mk. 1 version and a buddy praising the mk. II after making a swap. Looks like I'll have to go shopping! 🙂 You have been really praised with the weather! Good weather for the 100-400. Just a tad cloudy and it doesn't perform as good. Stunning pictures.
