Beggsy
I recently finished this off in the B-25 STGB and thought I'd share the results here. It's the new Airfix B-25C/D converted to a J and then converted again to a firebomber that crash-landed in Alaska, and is now being restored to flight. It was a lot of work to do the conversion (there's more differences between the D and the J than I thought!) but I thoroughly enjoyed it You can find the build here: Anyway, on with the pictures!! Some details: And finally, some more artistic shots with the piece of the real aircraft, and on a VFR sectional chart of Alaska: For reference, here's what the real thing looked like: Thanks for looking! Unfinished project
Very nice, very different when they’re not bristling with machine guns out of every oriffice. She looks like she’s been working hard 👍

greggles.w
Great work. All the effort to convert (& convert again!) has paid off with a terrific finish - congratulations!
Michael51
What a magnificent build. The images atop the map are particularly atmospheric. What is it about the B-25 that is so magical? Michael
Spitfire31
Beautiful build of a worthy workhorse! Kind regards, Joachim
kapam
Excellent work.! The paint chipping and general worn look of this civilian workhorse are spot on. I really like the non-military take on this ubiquitous aircraft.
k5054nz
Fantastic work Beggsy, I first heard the Sandbar Mitchell story on WarbirdRadio but I think this is the first time I've seen these photos. And what a beautiful representation! I love the paintwork, and the water doors. Beautiful.
