UK Air Defence Grey - Airbrush

Forgive me if the subject has been discussed at length before. What are opinions on the best colour / airbrush friendly representations of barley grey, light aircraft grey, medium sea grey etc. I do like Tamiya but I’m aware the colours don’t match exactly and I want to stay away from enamels.

Xtracrylics for barely and light aircraft grey and mission models for medium sea grey, don’t airbrush but others do with both brands.

The Air defence colour is  called Camouflage Grey  BS381c  626 you may have better luck looking for the colour under this correct designation.

Thanks chaps, I’m looking more towards humbrol, they seem to be more consistent from comments over the internet. I’m surprised the raf Cold War colours are so poorly served in acrylics.

I've used the Humbrol acrylic versions of these colours. Medium sea grey (165) is OK. Barley grey (167) at first looks too green, but after gloss and matt varnishes for the decal & wash processes, it looks good.

Light aircraft grey (166) was in my opinion, too dark and had a brown tinge to it. I had to add white to get it to the correct shade by my eyes.

These colours are also available in the Mr Hobby range. Worked well for me.
