It's also forbidden to brake gently if you're turning into a gateway,it must be left until the last few feet and brake as hard as possible....

and when you brake gently, then halfway the turn you pull to (almost) a full stop to make sure you don't turn to fast...

No, sorry: you must stop in the carriageway until you have accumulated a tail of at least six vehicles, then proceed into the turn at a speed not exceeding 1 km/hr.

All AUDIs and BMWs must have their speedometers re-calibrated to 15mph+ above the relevant speed limits. They must also be confined to the outside lane of all multi lane roads, except when undertaking.

You forgot to mention the hidden EU legislation that all German manufactured cars, since the year 2000 do not have to include Indicators as mandatory items.

Ever noticed that? Especially with High performance German cars.

I suppose that is in a similar vein to manufacturers that don't have to provide an emergency wheel?

Farm traffic to be periodically introduced to main roads for fun.

I think this is a permanent entertaining feature of the A17.

1 - All householders must place their wheelie bin in a predetermined place. Failure to do so will result in the wheelie bin NOT being emptied.

2 - Bin men however are contractually obliged to leave said bin a MINIMUM of 6 houses down the street and in the middle of the pavement. Failure to do say may result in dismissal.

Regards,

Steve

When walking in London, you are required to have an app on your mobile phone linked to its camera so you can safely watch where you are walking simply by staring fixedly at your phone's screen, some versions of the app also provide a detailed spoken commentary describing what's going on around you so some users may also be wearing headphones at the same time to blot out any distracting background noises so they feel even safer.

That explains everything!

Maybe the next thing to come along will be virtual reality head sets so that "those" people won't need a phone in there hand. Just don't assume they will get out of your way though. Funny how "they" manage not to constantly bump into each other.

I think I will return to my own planet now!

When walking your dog always let it off your lead near peoples gardens especially when cats appear.

Ladies are required by law to walk two abreast with push chairs, accompanied by dogs and at least six children when walking along well sign posted cycle lanes with no means of passing.

All till trained staff at supermarkets have been given special dispensation to have in depth discussions about friends and family (with each other) especially if they are located two or three aisles apart while ignoring the customer they are serving at any given time.

Any time a group of 3 or more people stop to chat, they must spread out to block as much pavement as possible with the given number of people. If a dog is present, it should be let out on a long lead to block the space remaining.

Related to the above. When exiting any building or area through a doorway, people shall congregate in sufficient numbers to block all others' progress through the door. This is primarily enforced while leaving customs at the airport.

A California specialty: Signage identifying a closed exit shall only be provided after the last preceding exit to maximize inconvenience to drivers and disruptions on nearby surface streets.

On arriving at the top of the escalator, ensure that you stop immediately after stepping off for at least ten seconds, to look around and get your bearings
