Jo-Han 1935 Mercedes-Benz 500K 1/25

A fine kit from Jo-Han considering it must be getting on for nearly 50 years old. I had one age related problem, the vinyl tyres had hardened and shrunk in size so that the white wall inserts would not fit, likewise with the rims. A considerable amount of dremeling with a sanding drum was required to open out the recess for the white walls and the hole for the rims. Apart from that it all went together without any issues.

 

Paint used Tamiya TS-39 Mica Red
