The plane was flown by F/O Edgar Wilson (RNZAF) of No 146 Squadron in India in September 1944 (just wanted something unusual and exotic paint scheme, not the ordinary and well known US olive drab camouflage)

Wot he said,  ☝️ I first came upon this in a @tonyot build some time back, it features on  the Xtradecals Yanks with Roundels sheets for the Thunderbolt, definitely on my to do list.

Haha,... yeah I came up with and researched most of the subjects from that sheet for Xtradecal and loved that option!
