Mikey-1980
Out standing collection and some really great work there too! Credit to all who built the collection. No Blackburn Beverly? I guess the 1/144 scale that is available wouldn't fit in?

cardiff guy
Hi All Thank you all for the very kind words of encouragement, I will feed it back to all concerned. To try and answer a few points, the display stand for the reds diamond 9 formation was made by one of the clever guys in the wing, he is now working on a bomb burst stand next. there were a few more kits promised but transport problems put pay to that but we were hoping on a Valiant, Canberra, Dakota, Heyford and an HP 0/400, there is a hunter there but only an f.6 in raspberry ripple colours as for a Beverly I can only wish. Again thanks for looking Glenn.

About a year ago I was asked by the wing Commander if we could get 100 1/72 RAF aircraft together for our wing field training day which was held today. Not wanting to let the wing Commander down I said it would be a big ask but I would see what we could do. So with the help of a few other cadet instructors and the cadets from our squadron model club we managed over the 100, there are a few obvious omissions but this is our efforts. I know there is a lot but I hope you enjoy them Regards Glenn. Enjoy them? How can you not do? What an amazing effort- congratulations to all involved, it's a wonderful tribute.👍🎖 There is one other thing you have actually achieved- this is one of the best RAF static displays I've seen since the 1977 silver jubilee review at Finningley (albeit in miniature)
Harold55
Fantastic! What an acomplishment to bring this collection together. Just coordinating this would be a monumental task.
FIGHTS ON
A great way to involve the cadets in celebrating the end of the 100 year experiment. Some really good builds there and I hope all involved enjoyed themselves - good effort and thank you for posting AND a big thanks to your cadets/staff for taking the time & effort to do this.
