RAF 100 celebration, over 100 RAF aircraft 1918 - 2018

Recommended Posts

Hi All

In my spare time I help out with the air cadets. About a year ago I was asked by the wing Commander if we could get 100 1/72 RAF aircraft together for our wing field training day which was held today.

Not wanting to let the wing Commander down I said it would be a big ask but I would see what we could do.

So with the help of a few other cadet instructors and the cadets from our squadron model club we managed over the 100, there are a few obvious omissions but this is our efforts.

I love the Red Arrows flight formation display. Ingenious!

Is that a custom made display stand?

Well done by the way. Impressive....very impressive.

Firstly, what a great idea to celebrate the RAF's Centenary.

That's a magnificent collection and display you've managed to put together. I hope that your Wingco was suitably impressed.

You've put together a very inspirational display in quite a short time. I don't know how many were involved in this project, but I take my hat off to you all.

Do you have any close up shots of the models by any chance?
