Recommended Posts

my latest pair...airfix 1/72 P51d as a CAC CA18 mustang and a revell !/72 P51b as an early incarnation of NX1204.

VH-IVI in 1969..it later had a very nice scheme but was destroyed in 1973

the kit is well known at very nice to build.

NX-1204...owned by Paul Mantz in the late 40's and extensively raced it later gained a wet wing for long distance racing....it survives to this day now flying in full military trim as "Ina the macon bell" owned by kermit weeks.

I can remember VH-IVI being on the Australian register as well as VH-BOZ & VH-BOY - the latter two being operated by Chieftain Aviation at Bankstown I think - good job on the Mustang

Lovely pair of civvy birds.  I can see a bit of a theme running on your workbench. You’ll need a bigger coral to keep these ponies at bay 👍

oddly enough there are two more on the bench.......i'm a sucker for punishment it seems
