Gimme Fuel Gimme Fire...1/48 Churchill Mk.VII Crocodile

Recommended Posts

After a longer pause, my dad has some free modelling space for a little tank build now and already started Tamiya´s new Churchill, doing the flamethrower version.

As expected it seems to be a troublefree quick build.

Gimme that which i desire...... Cool thread (and title).

Not my favourite Metallica song at all,, but the title grabbed my attention. A perfect title, and a perfect little kit by the looks of things.

Nice work, Reini,

It would be great to see a diorama featuring a Crocodile shooting flame.... how that could be done (without actually spraying burning fuel from the nozzle) I do not know. Maybe an optical fibre with orange/yellow light shining along it and some fluttering orange and yellow tissue-paper flames?

I have a 1/35th Tamiya Churchill in the stash. It will be my 2nd Churchill and hopefully 10 times better than my first.

Rearguards,

Badder

yes, it´s a nice kit, typical modern Tamiya, shake and bake

@Badder

When I thought of a thread intro, the Metallica song came to my mind instantly :headphones:

Sadly my dad isn´t a dio builder, but would be a cool idea 🙂
