I think the A-1 was a straightforward build (so far!) however, I'm looking forward to see what you're going to do with the rear cockpit of the AD-4!!!

Sorry to worry you but with THIS AD-4 the rear cockpit will be empty since the real thing was empty... 

They used both AD-4N and -4NA in pure attack role, both radar and electronics was teared out..

The AD-5 were in service, so !!

But, I will Do an AD-4Q and AD-4W... 

Thei will enter the pattern as soon as one of the Spad is RFIed !! 

I'll say that the Tamiya Spad is one of the best Tamiya kit I did so far !!

The interior is a resin one however !!

Hello Dears,

Following a strong argument with SWMBO, we stayed 3 days whitout the PC...

Here I'm back !!

White has been done

Engine cowling is now glued and will be filled and sanded since the exhausts stacks are installed...

And will not be overpainted ...

Green on now !!

I statred to alter the grey paint... Since the AD were heavily weathered !!!

very though days these days !!

Yesterday, we get to the chiropractoc with Sirius !! 

Lord !! that was though but he look better at least !!

All his back was overcontracted BUT go on for elongating such a heavy beast !!!

Then, I got an acute allergy... I know that I reacted to the long haired dogs

And to the saliva of any dog... I was awfull !! And get to bed early... No modelling for me yesterday ..🥵🥵

But !!

You both know the CCinator now !!

Green on ! Jump !! Hoooops !! not from this one !! and @tonyot is not here !!

 

and the black is on too !! 

I can't wait to start the weathering on this beast !!

My favs are the Blue chimay...9 Volts, the Rochefort 10, it say it all , the trappe quadrupel around 10 volts too

And so on ! Corsendonk is a great one too !! In fact I prefer the dark ones !!

That's a beer cooler and this huge pipe get directly in the counter !!

Then old fashioned beer alambic !!

Beer for men, cherry or so specialities for the ladies !!

Special cheese for everyone and Oh !! they have their own chocolate makers !!

Well back at the business !!

Decalling is done !

Aaaand the biggest part of the painting is done on this other beast !!

It will be another candidate for a HEAVY weathering !!

Excellent work Cousin ! ... Really love the AD but your Roc looks great as well. I never realized just how big those were.

Great looking AD. With the needle tubes for gun barrels. Have done that for a number of years. I visit the veterinary supply store a few times a year to buy assorted size needles. Have used them for a variety of applications from gun barrels to pitot tubes. Also use regular needles for sewing on jet AOA probes.

Nice comparison between the ROC and the Spad.

Again great looking AD you have there CC. Am a huge fan of the early Navy colors.

Hello Dears,

One of the last post about the A-1H... The next will be in RFI...

I'm glad with the first shot of my exhaust smudge...

These a particular on the Skyaider, then the oil leaks on the ventral tank and on the belly !!

The special bomb is now ready, this arming propeller was not easy to fix

But it can be called done !!

Now I wonder.... The next skyaider ???

Fantastic finish!!!!! AD-5 or any of the off shoots from it PLEASE. I have a few of the Matchbox reissue from Revell and 6 of the Matchbpox AD-5 A-1E.
