With different radars (CEA - Australian), combat system (AEGIS - US), and combat interface (SAAB 9LV - Swedish/Australian), 5” gun (Mk 45/44 - US), and all nine being built in Australian shipyards - the Hunter class is more of a cousin to the Type 26 class.

Blergh.

After a country has of its own volition purchased Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates, it can never complain about looks again.

You mean gen dit...

However that is fabulous news...now who else is lined up.👌

Maybe a few UK orders 🤔

I meant GED-DIN!, as in `back of the net...he shoots he score`, and kind of realised I`d made a mess of it. :bangin:

But yes, excellent endorsement in time for the Canadian selection process; co-operation strengthened with a valuable ally; and dare we dream? Possible future additions to the eight already planned for the RN.

Good news day, hurrah!
