Hi Steve Yes but this kit shows its age it was first released in 1974 according to Scalemates https://www.scalemates.com/kits/257481-hasegawa-a8-republic-p-47d-thunderbolt The cockpit is basic with just a seat and an instrument panel represented by a decal and there is no control column https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/4/8/1/257481-88-instructions.pdf I would recommend the Tamiya kit I know it may be expensive in Europe but you can find this kit for a decent price in HK or Japan ... theplasticsurgeon
I've built the other option previously, no photos. Here's the razorback version from 2016, a lot of similarity - so one is based on the other. PhantomBigStu
I wasn’t aware the Revell kit came with RAF decals unless I’ve missed a boxing?

stevehnz
Stu, if you try the decal method I mentioned in this thread, Academy decals aren't so awful. I did the same finish as Tims KW-R & had no issues with them other than a couple of stencils I hadn't glossed under, a lesson there for me. Otherwise the only issue with the Hasegawa kit. apart from the cockpit as Tim has said, is the simplified arrangement for the splitter under the engine for the oil cooler/turbo charger intakes. It really needs a couple of intake deviders at about 8 & 4 o'clock, the Academy kit is even worse in this respect, the Tamiya & Revell kits do it well. Steve.
