I did a 131st Spitfire Mk VII and the markings were white...

Now, I Wonder...

The markings were white or Sky ??

They looked white on the ref pic…. But ???

If anyone can help answering the question..

note standard wing tip as well in above pic

 

Also, in Spitfire at War 3 there is a close up of some damage to a 131 Sq Spitfire VII, which clearly shows a very thin dark (black?)  outline to the codes, as well as them not being white.

 

I did email Roy Sutherland and mention this as well.
