British Aircraft Corporation 167 Strikemaster

Recommended Posts

The BAC 167 was a further development of the original Hunting Percival Jet Provost. This was essentially an armed version of the JP Mk.5. Pictures of G-SOAF a Mk.82A ex the Sultan Of Omans Air Force. This aircraft was the last Strikemaster built as an attrition replacement. It was actually assembled from an unfinished air frame, and parts destined for Sudan but never completed due to an arms embargo.  It is now owned and operated by  North Wales Military Aviation Services.  Pics thanks to Tim Mansfield (theplasticsurgeon).
