Pete in Lincs
That looks more like it. An RAF version would need holes in the sponsons for tie down rings and rings on the forward fuselage too, not sure if the SAAF version has them?
Bladerunner
Thanks Colin, I hope it will do well too. Pete in lincs, this will be an early SAAF Puma C, and they were very basic. My reference material does not show the tie down rings, but on much later models.
TimB
As long as it is not quite as difficult to turn it into an HC1 as it was in 1:1 scale. There were over 2000 modifications to embody if I remember... Tim
Bladerunner
Good evening guys, With the masters completed, test assembly of the first parts has been done. If I counted correct, the kit has around 105 parts. Still testing options to cast the main rotor blades to prevent the blades from sagging too much. Rather pleased with the outcome, and at least looks like a Puma...lol Here's a couple of pictures. Cheers, John

bar side
Is that the original kit glazing or a new piece?
Bladerunner
It's vacformed, based on the original canopy.
