Devilfish
This is the Airfix 1/48 Canberra B.2, built pretty much out of the box, other than a change of markings, to 85 Sqn. The rudder has had the fantasy lines filled, and the second DV window on the canopy has been removed. I added B handles to the tops of the seats, seeing as they are so prominent. To allow it to sit properly on its wheels, I had to put 125g of weights in behind the cockpit. It will still tail-sit, if nudged though! 20180402_224630 by Paul Carter, on Flickr 20180416_224157 by Paul Carter, on Flickr 20180416_224034 by Paul Carter, on Flickr 20180416_224223 by Paul Carter, on Flickr 20180416_224042 by Paul Carter, on Flickr 20180416_224207 by Paul Carter, on Flickr 20180416_224151 by Paul Carter, on Flickr
Lord Riot
Absolutely stunning mate! Beautiful Canberra. Incredible how much nose weight you need for this, I'm glad you stated how much because I have one of these in my stash. Nice markings too, I'm still undecided what to donwith mine; oob, 100 sqn circa 1987 or a late-50s slate grey/light grey camo one. Maybe I just need more Canberras! I have the PR.9 and B(I)8 in my stash too, but I could easily build several more B.2s (is I had the room. So many colour schemes and options.... I had to do this one 85 Sqn, to go with my 85 Sqn collection, but there are a few other colour schemes and types that were used just by them! As for the weight, I stuffed as much as I could, as far forward as I could (about 105g iirc) but left the bomb doors off until it was on its wheels. That's when I found I needed at least another 20g to keep the nose down (just)

Amo Aero
Beautiful model! I have a few of these in the stash, and am looking forward to building them as the Canberra is one of my all time favorite aircraft. I did build the ancient Airfix 1/72 Canberra back in the early 1980s and remember thinking at the time with all the lead it needed in the nose I could use it as a lethal club if needed.

Unfinished project
Lovely looking Canberra. I hope the undercarriage can take all of those wheel balance weights. Cracking build and lovely finish all over 👍
Spad
Super result - so pleased to see it with a bit of shine! My B(I).8 has 130gm behind the cockpit and only just stays on all three, though I am absolutely convinced the main gear is angled forwards too much on this kit. Good work all round there chap!
