Demon
Jumpei KNOWS P-40B/Cs!! (Or in this case Model 81A2.) Is it possible or likely that a Model Company will team up with Jumpei Temma to produce an ACCURATE new kit???? I've heard companies ask, "Do you have accurate drawings?", when I ask them to make this subject!! Jumpei DOES!! Come on Tamiya/Fine Molds/Hasegawa!! Team up with Jumpei and make an ACCURATE P-40B/C so we assemblers can try to replicate this gem from Jumpei!! Bo
72modeler
Thanks for posting both articles for the rest of us! Jumpei is beyond serious when it comes to modeling! I have saved every one of his articles, but it is doubtful I will ever be able to equal his skill, but it sure gives me the standard to reach for. I second your comments, Demon! MDriskill
My favorite part is how you get the best drawings in existence, not just of the P-40B, but also of EVERY other P-36 and P-40 variant!

ClaudioN
Now... my 1/72 RAF Mohawk Mk. IV was built MANY years ago from sanding and filing to shape a Revell P-40, combined with a Wright Cyclone engine from a Revell F2A and a spare cowling from the Airfix Dauntless. I MUST make sure it does get nowhere near those Jumpei Temma plans.
Demon
The 'Airfix Guard' push back hasn't materialized. But then it's hard to do since this is such a vast improvement over the kit. Bo
