Eduard 1/144 MiG-SMT

This is my 1/144 MiG-SMT, built looking a bit tired and worn, based at Krasnodar Higher Aviation Training Facility, Soviet Union 1980, all comments welcome.

Very neat SMT. What paint did you use?

 

I started to convert one of mine (have dual combo) to a UM using Retrowings conversion. Very challenging work!

Thank you, your one is looking good. i used Vallejo mainly and Tamiya panel line black, even though you cannot really see into cockpit i used Vallejo emerald which at this scale was a good match for cockpit colour.

Yes, the SMT cockpit is small. I can just see the emerald in the cockpit which looks good. On the UM you get a much larger space and Retro Wings have provided a lot of good detail even in this scale, including separate seats!
