Nice to see Kora coming out with more plastic aeroplane kits. I wonder if they'll come out with this in Paraguayan markings (Gran Chaco War)? I did not realise it ever wore Soviet markings.

Jason

Let's hope the quality has improved. The earlier releases are on a par with 1990s Pavla kits and decades behind the 'current' limited-run standard.....

I'd still take a rough limited-run injection-moulded plastic kit, as long as it's reasonably accurate, over a resin or vacuform kit any day. I'm certain Kora's quality will improve, as it has with other limited-run manufacturers over the years.

Best Regards,

So would I.   But their previous Curtiss-Wrights require about the same work as a vacform to turn into something presentable.  And I've built plenty of the latter.......

Well, I shall soon find out as I intend on buying their Finnish Fokker C.VE. I've built some pretty rough limited-run kits over the years, so it will take a lot to discourage me. In fact, being the odd sort that I am, I rather like the challenge (within limits, of course). Still, if they improve these limited-run kits, I would love to see them eventually come out with their extensive Hart-family kits in injection-moulded form. I've never liked vacuform, although I've built several models, and I've decided to stay away, as much as possible, from resin due to the health hazard of the dust.

Jason

The Fokker C.Vs are by LF Models, not Kora. Not sure what the connection is (if any), but the LF Fokkers are MUCH better kits than the Kora releases and are basically sound, if not quite up with the best.  So, no problem there....

I understand someone else is working on Hawker kits which should be way better than any previous releases.

I'm completely with you on the resin front (but I like vacforms, which are a blank canvas to create something unique....)

Interesting model! It was in use in Abissynian campaign so it fits my limits :)

I think the LF and Kora are closly related, they have common web page.

The owners of LF and KORA are old friends, therefore they share the same web page.

The two always appear side by side on Czech hobby fairs.

That's all, they are completely different brands.

I know them personally so I can tell ...

Nice to see an aeroplane from the Gran Chaco War being released! Unfortunately, I already have the old Aeroclub kit, which even has the Paraguayan markings. I'd love to see them do that Bolivian Junkers, though.

Jason
