Papa4ways Posted June 20, 2018 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Hi Folks, I've taken on the Italeri 1/48 Scale F-A22 Raptor, and the build is going well, however the paint scheme is not going well, and it's causing me problems, and I could really use some help, I've never done, what is to me (colour blind) is this grey over grey camouflage paint scheme, I just don't know how to get the required paint scheme, I've tried and tried and keep making a mess, I'm nowhere near good enough when it comes to hand painting, so could anyone please help me, and give me some tips and or advice on how to get the required paint scheme Thanks in advance for any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

tsepajev Posted June 20, 2018 Share Posted June 20, 2018 The F-22A exterior paints contains stealth particles that makes them more or less metallic depending on lightning conditions. You can use Hasegawa 1/48 F-22A painting instructions as a guide. It recommends tinting basic Gunze greys with Gunze metallic colors.
