LV-AES was one of the many DH89s that operated in Argentina, changing hands, ownership and operating companies several times, all that spiced up by the erratic aeronautic policies and even more erratic political climate.

And article on TAASA can be found on Aviones.com magazine of Argentina, Nr 5, November 2013.

LV (Lima Victor) Magazine from Argentina published an article on TAASA on its issue Nr 19.

My thanks to modeler extraordinaire and friend Matías Hagen from Argentina, for the brainstorming, material and suggestions.

My gratitude also to Mika Jernfors of Arctic Decals for his superlative work, without him many of my projects may have never seen the light of day.

For those so inclined, Flight magazine had a couple of very small blurbs on this plane and company on the Oct 28 1960 and April 13 1961 issues.

About twenty four years of "photographic license" separate these two planes, which says a lot about the type resilience and life:

Love it, well done, apologies if you have already said, but which kit did you use? I love the DH 89, thinking of doing an Israeli one.

Hi Josh

It was, indeed, said, in the first post of this thread, where the link to the building post is.

Heller it is. A nice kit, if a bit dated, that can be built into a fair model.

Two images of a civil one:

That is excellent - I love civil aviation replicas!

I don't imagine any Heller kit is a straightforward build (in the Tamiya way of things, for example) so you have done a stellar job.

👍

What a stunner, outstanding work. I'm going to keep a lookout for an Airfix/Heller DH.89 now, seeing yours two has inspired me to have a go myself. I want one!

Cheers

John
