Note to self send Martian a case of Real Ale..

In this heat, I eagerly await delivery! Note to other BM denizens: Limitless gushing praise can be obtained for your threads by supplying your resident alien with suitable libations.

Needed some locker doors

propped in place

I've also been looking at the coaming .

Started  with 0.5 mm square on outside of hull to help fix to. Roughly marked the capping piece to be trimmed in situ

Trimmed on outside, inside to have 1mm square stanchions fitted once deck in place.

if anyone has any question feel free to ask

Thanks for looking in

Just caught up on this thread. Making great strides and looking the biz. Are those doors guard the beer locker?

Stuart

If they are, Kev has clearly lost the key as I still await delivery of the ale he promised! 😞

Loads of these boats out during Classic week, really enjoy seeing them on the water when I'm out Kayaking.

I'll watch this with personal interest seeing as it's a very local theame.

Procrastination and garden projects at the mo. Probably going to go for a Colchester Oyster Smack, as in March's book....working sporadically on drawings, bought a few sheets of 3mm Lime.....

Thanks, so do I :) .   Got the plans scanned in and am (slowly) making them into something I can build from. Planning on working at 1/48th this time, still comes out as a small model! I think the main difference between it and the one your doing is that the rudder is inboard.

Apropos working boats, I found this  entry in a forum today, fascinating and a real insight into bits and pieces necessary to a gaffer... http://www.kingslynn-forums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4070&sid=69ebc4852253046413894e773eaa10af

I'm always amazed at the craftsmanship needed to make & fit the various bits & pieces to build these small boats.
