One of my favorite Jet aircraft. When I was a kid in the late '60s and early '70s, we saw them daily as we played baseball in our yard. We lived 3 miles from O' Hare airport in Chicago. Those engines sure made a lot of smoke!

I like the way they made the canopy, all manufacturers should do that!  And the fact that there are no windows  have to be masked off!

They are showing as £27.57 (price converted) on their site, I wonder how much these will cost when they reach the shops on these shores?

Also out there for this kit  are decals for Elvis' Lisa Marie from www.atlantic-models.com if they are still around. ( Can't check as work blocks their site)

I've always loved the look of the Delta Convair 880. This one is really tempting me!

FWIW, i just started clipping parts off the sprues. There is a bit of work to be done cleaning up the sprue attachment gates, and some flash here and there mainly on the trailing edges of the surfaces that lay into the upper surface.

However, once this cleanup work is done fit is excellent. Panel lines are extremely fine and to scale.

That's very encouraging! Thanks!
