KelT
Wow. That's simply amazing. I'm not a big fan of jets but when I see work as beautiful as this I can't help but ogle in admiration. Great photos too.

ColinChipmunkfan
Great fan of the cat- Top Gun I suppose. This is a great example, I really like the 'heavy sit' of the model. Well painted with a great set of markings from a time before everything went very dull.
Dazey
Dear Rav, Lovely Tomcat. May I ask what paints you used, in particular the radome colour? Regards, David
Uncle Pete
Nice. As I once heard a Toncat pilot say on a documentary, “It’s big, it’s bad, it’s honkin’!” I like the Jolly Rogers’ livery, too. Mine came with some boring lo-viz generic markings but I didn’t figure my build skills were worth the tenner for AM decals.

However sometimes planes are rock and roll enough with out the need for gaudy markings. Nice to have a few in the collection though. I may still build one like this, from when they were all painted this way, not just the CAG. This academy kit looks better than others I have seen, think its the radome tan and anti glare that breaks up the lines distracts from the too pointy nose. Good job @rav

I had not the C318 Radome suggested by Hasegawa instructions but I thought that C313 Yellow FS33531 is close enough (and not very yellow).

Unfinished project
Beautiful, what’s not to like it’s a F-14 and it’s been stunningly reproduced here. You’ve captured the look of this A model beautifully 👍
