Thanks Dennis. It's sometime a bit difficult to get back into the swing of a project after a month away but I think I'm back in the zone with this and a 54mm figure I am also working on.

Nice, I've got a 1/72 Italeri one in the stash for when the winter weather stops me messing about outside. I need to investigate panel wash too as I haven't used them yet.

 

Have you got it to "sit down" or is it propped up out of shot?

I use Ammo panel line wash, they're very easy to use. Having messed about with other methods of applying washes I've settled with these.

I've got it to sit properly by stuffing the front wheel bay with 5g blutack. Not an ideal solution but it worked. 😄
