Good morning 

My 3rd build will be Helen the Mustang flown by captain Art Fieldler  of the famous Checkertail Clan 325Fighter Group

I will use a Superscale decals sheet

 

I will replace the seat by a Quickboost one and the Instrument panel by a Yahuu models one ..

 

I will start when the Mitchell and Kittyhawk are finished

Good evening

Today I started to work on the cockpit I painted the ''walls'' in Interior Green , consoles in black with some points of colours

Good evening

 Today I placed the Yahu Instrument Panel and Quickboost seat on the floor and I placed this assembly on the right fuselage

Once again I managed to break the control column when I removed it from the sprue but I succeeded to repair it hopefully .

Looks Good Patrice. Thanks for the link for the resin Hori Stabs. It's one part of this great kit that's not quite right. They look to be a good fit.

 Thank you for your comment , I used these stabs on all my Airfix Mustangs after I failed to correct the kit parts on my first build,  I use cyanoacrylate glue to cement them ..

Today I painted  the anti glare panel in Olive Drab and the red band around the nose

 This week end I placed the canopy , the exhausts (I replaced the kit parts by Quickboostresin ones  ),   the canopy and the decals (the propeller is not glued )..

Good evening

 Today I made a light weathering , I placed the aerial mast (given by an old Hasegawa kit ) ,  I glued the  flaps and I started to place the undercarriage legs and doors

I think that I will finish this build there ..
