Starfighter
Hi Guys, Here is my recently completed Heinkel He 111H for your inspection. It's the first time I've built an ICM kit, and I was very impressed with the parts fit. I used Humbrol 91 and 116 for the upper surface camouflage, with 65 for the undersides. It was brush painted with Humbrol Satin Cote to finish it off. All comments, good or bad are welcome, but I hope you like it. 29

Starfighter
Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I should have stated that the final satin finish was airbrushed. I usually mix the paints with 50 / 50 colour and thinners, which usually requires about 3 - 4 coats, which I rub down between applications. I then gloss coat for the decals and finally finish with an airbrush of matt or satin, depending on the model. This system has worked for me over the years, but maybe one day I'll pluck up courage ( And the money ) to invest in a more expensive airbrush, but at the moment I'm quite happy with my trusty Badger 200 !
