Myanmar Air Force MiG-29 1/48 Scale Great Wall Hobby

Recommended Posts

MiG-29s are backbone multirole fighter aircraft of Myanmar Air Force.

Great Wall Hobby is making very nicely detailed MiG-29s so I gave a try.

It is built and painted in Myanmar Air Force Camo.

The Air Force markings and numbers are from Caracal Decals printed by Cartograf.

I left one engine cover removed and one engine displayed on a stand.

This model will be at Malaysia Miniatures and Hobby Show 2018 very soon.

Love it, how was the kit going together?

Magnificently! Great result! :goodjob: But there is one inaccuracy. The upper "gills" should be closed (in the parking position).

p.s. the engine looks very realistic

Wow!  That is a beauty.  Absolutely stunning work and the 'hangar' photos are superb - well done

A bit misfit and gaps along wheel bays.

But they are covered when two fusalage halves glued together.

Impressive modelling! The engine is a work of art and the lit diorama is truly evocative.

Top marks!

Kind regards,

Joachim

Beautiful model in a very cool colour scheme! The hangar looks very convincing too.

Cracking job and nice unusual colours.  Something like that would brighten  up the shelves of olive drab and flat earth nicely!

Amazing amazing job Thant! I have the same project to build, same scheme. Did you find the kit easy to build?

It should be easy for an experienced modeler.
