stevehnz
Please please Mr Fujimi, if you'd re-release your 1/72 TA-4J kit, then maybe someone will do some decals for these, they're just SOOOOO, cool & I've only one TA-4J kit & its ear marked for a Kiwi bird. whiskey
Interesting first picture you posted Sven as there is an A-10 in the background in Grey. I was under the impression that A-10's didn't lose their camouflage paint jobs until after Desert Storm, yet here you see one on the ramp at Nellis in 1980! A-10's were certainly grey when they first come into service. The first pair I saw at a Mildenhall show were US based and Grey, suspect that would have been 1977 time. That show had a YF-16, YC-14 & YC-15 as well. Possibly an EC-121 as well. Great shows.
Haydn
Hi Sven, do you have any shots of those Cessnas on the Nellis Transient line ? Cheers, Haydn.

Those were hacks for the Red Hats, and even though I doubt they had anything classified to them, we were told to give them a wide berth and not take any photos - probably more concerned with getting the crew than the plane. It was the same way with the "Janet" Boeings. Sven

You'd been in a parallel universe if you'd seen an EC-121 in 1977 .... http://www.scramble.nl/?option=com_showreports&view=article&ct=GB&id=2089 Martin
72modeler
I LOVE two-seat Scooters! Loved the Lexington and Beeville kites, too. Thank you so much for sharing your photo collection with the rest of us, Sven! Keep 'em coming! Mike

Close but not good enough I guess, however I have not opened my spotting books since @1995 so it was not bad shout 🙄
