Would like one but seeing the price of the 1/144 DHC-8 at around £45.00 a pop, and that I would very much like to have... no thanks!!

I can only echo the comments above. As much as I'd  like a couple of dash-8 models, their price and the errors of the F27 kit have put me off EE completely. That's a pity because there aren't many other kit manufacturers rushing to fill the gaps in commercial aircraft models.

£45 quid! Thats about as funny as Micheal McIntire!! How many do they think there going to sell at that price? £25 max for that I would have thought. Lets hope Roden have a go , better model and better price i would imagine. I still think Airfix should reprise an updated SkyKing series, re do the Comet,Vanguard, Trident and some commuters.

Poor old Bombardier, all the effort and none of the credit. It's now an Airbus like the  C17 is a Boeing!  It's a funny old world.

I received my C-series today (ok, A220). From initial inspection it's honestly a real beauty of a kit. Very neat engraved panel lines, clear flight deck glazing, good quality plastic (not soft like Zvezda), thin trailing edges. Decals for Delta and Swiss.

It really is just as good as anything from the larger more established model companies. I won't belabour the price issue, there's a well known resin airliner model company who charge more and nobody complains about their prices.

Photos to follow if anyone is interested.

Yes please, Jeff, I'd appreciate seeing photos of what's in the box.

I'll doubtless get one (or more) of these eventually.  Eastern Express are very prolific with their 1/144 airliner new releases, filling lots of gaps, subject-wise.  I'm also pleased that their future releases are all slated to be CAD.

If you get a chance to comment on how well (or otherwise) the parts go together, that would be good too...….

Ok, pictures to follow shortly. It is a decent quality kit, quite a bit improved from their earlier models.

Beautiful photos, thank you very much! This kit looks beautiful on the sprues and I have no reason to believe it won't fit as good as the MD-11 kit project shared between Eastern Express and MikroMir (mine fit like a dream, though I often read it was a pig of a kit). I'll place an order in a matter a days, thank you for your help in providing great photos!

Tempted to get one, quite a nice airliner and a nice change from Boeing and Airbus even though Airbus bought it....  I still class it as a Bombardier.

Photo of mine recently from Manchester.
