Heather Kay
Not wishing to be nit-picky, but the bonnet is wrong. The side panels hinge with the top panel, and would fold up with the whole resting on the other side of the central hinge. Apart from that it looks smashing. 👍
Ratch
The kit options are closed or half open as mine appears. I've seen pictures of the bonnet fully open, resting on the closed part. The kit comes from the Ready For Action set, supposedly from the Battle of Britain period, although all the RAF experts I know reckon the RAF didn't have the MWD (especially with aero-screens) at that time 🙄
Heather Kay
What do experts know anyway! 😉 I didn't realise the upper part of the bonnet could be unlatched from the side panels like that, so I stand corrected. Of course, I can't immediately find a photo on t'interwebs to prove it one way or the other!
