bigbadbadge
Ooooooo very nice indeed. Great work. Which kit did you use is it the Revell/Monogram kit or the Trumpeter Kit ? All the best Chris
nikos
Thanks guys. I decided not only to construct the models but to give them life solutions with electric triks. Specially the TU 22 M has the half pieces lost. So it will be dead in "darkness" The owner of second hand kit told it to me but I decided to buy it and give to the kit second life chance. I was very happy with the result when I calculated and scratched correct the pieces lost.

janneman36
Where you inspired by that lonely rotting Dakota which is accompanied by the Caravelle at your airport of Thessaloniki.. I like the idea of getting it lighted and motorised, lovely build.. Cheers, Jan
BIG X
That is an amazing C47 - even without the lights - keep them coming...
nikos
Janneman36 I was officer ( Lt Colonell) of Greek Air Force so every morning I was seen the C-47 492622 (2009). It was all "fresh" painted, because it is an anniversary aircraft. The Caravelle is in the Mikra airport (civil "Makedonia" airport of Thessaloniki).
CMSCHLOM
Simply superb! I'm glad to see that you bring life to a kit. Can you tell me what motors you used? Love it! Here's what I did with a 1/144 Revell TU-95 Bear-D. Click on picture. Edited June 12, 2018 by CMSCHLOM
nikos
CMSCHLOM I used for C-47 in 1/48 this kind of motor but I cut the upper axis pieces of wheels to put the motor in the plastic engine's nest and for smallest diameter plastic engine' s nest this kind

You can buy them individually for a few dollars. I order 4 at a time. https://hlj.com/product/DYS40119

John_W
Very nice. Have you built every single type to serve in the Greek Air force? Your collection is impressive, and educational.
