Hockeyboy76
Almost ready for paint. Need to finish masking the cockpit & tidy up the copious amounts of filler.

Hockeyboy76
It’s under paint, copious amounts of paint, hopefully that will hide the worst of it. 3

Hockeyboy76
I seem to have one of the very tacky and slow drying pots of Humbrol orange In a way that only appears sensible to me, I have given the fuse a coat of Future in prep for the decals, leaving the tacky orange tops to dry. If it takes to long I may not bother with the under fuse stripe. No one will know
Hockeyboy76
This has fought me all the way. So happy it’s finished as it’s really drained me. Even the decals fought back. More pics in the gallery
Pete in Lincs
You'll need a good long lie down after fighting that one. Still, nicely done in the spirit of the group build. They always conjure up an image of one landing on top of the Pan Am building in New York. I have a couple of these in a box of kits I built back in the seventies. I've an idea to combine the two in a Sci fi build so parts fit won't be a problem.
TonyW
That's the first time I've seen one of these built. Well done, it looks really good. Tony. 2

AdrianMF
It may have fought you all the way but it certainly looks like you won! Regards, Adrian 2
zebra
Excellent work @Hockeyboy76. It fought but you won! But I was thinking about looking for one of these for the STGB, after your experience with it I might try and find a Fujimi kit instead. 2
Romeo Alpha Yankee
That is a great result, I am amazed some of the decals for these earlier kits are still usable. 2

nimrod54
Great job with this one H, the decals look to have settled down really well, despite the problems you had with them. But I still think that things really started to turn the corner once you got Little H's 'Heavy Gang' involved. Well done mate. (I still haven't stopped laughing about your Snowdrop and his dog comment, so thanks for that too. ) 1
Pete in Lincs
I knew there'd be a picture out there somewhere. https://steamaker.tumblr.com/post/177574156251
JOCKNEY
Well done Big H, you are setting a great example to little H. I had no idea that this kit was going to put up such a battle, but you showed who's boss and it looks the business. cheers Pat 1
