Graham Boak Posted June 2, 2018 Share Posted June 2, 2018 I've just received the Modelcollect Rheintochter, and a very nice little kit it is - 2 launchers and 2 missiles. This did set me thinking about how the missiles were to be transported and then transferred to the launcher. I imagine some kind of crane truck and a dedicated trailer, but what did they imagine and use? I've also seen a view from a Shizuoka show showing a Rhientochter launcher and rocket, but also another launcher with Rheinbote. Graham Boak Posted June 2, 2018 Author Share Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) That's the kind of thing I had in mind but the missiles would need some kind of cradle for support when travelling, not just plonked down on its rather fragile fins. I do like the half-track with the crane, and might look out for that. PS the Milicast one is unavailable, as are most of their range with the crane, other than a truck.
