WildeSau75 Posted May 28, 2018 Share Posted May 28, 2018 Hi guys, Do you know if there are any after market front under carriage for the Airfix 1/72 DH-115 Vampire T11 where the wheel is not fixed to strut? Space Ranger Posted May 29, 2018 Share Posted May 29, 2018 The only aftermarket landing gear for this kit that I know of is the Scale Aircraft Conversion set, which is simply a white metal copy of the kit's plastic landing gear. In cases like this I spray the strut/mudguard with aluminum or steel, then hand-paint the tire as carefully as I can with a dark grey or other suitable tire color. I then apply a wash of thinned black paint to any boundaries between colors to create an artificial shadow. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
