BlackMax12
Here's my attempt at a Merkava 3D sans anti-slip coating. I tried to apply it several times then just gave up.

BlackMax12
Thanks Widow Yes this retirement stuff gives you lots of time but gets expensive. The stash is empty again. Thanks Jim Another IDF vehicle and another Merkava on the way and time to switch topics. I might go back yet and try to put some canvas sides on those 2 storage racks at the rear, hard to keep anything from falling out without any sides and doesn't look great either. Take care, Lloyd Edited May 30, 2018 by BlackMax12
PlaStix
Great looking Merkava Lloyd. Always a pleasure to see the results of your builds. Kind regards, Stix
Bullbasket
The Chariot turned out really well and will fit in well with the rest of the IDF collection. John.
FrancisGL
The result is very good, the work has deserved the effort, the quality of the kit is noted, e.g. the motor grille and the anti-RPG balls look fantastic. Cheers Lloyd

BlackMax12
Thanks Beefy, haven't heard from you for a bit. I have a Merkava Mk 1 Hybrid which is almost the same as a Mk 2 and now a Mk 3d and a Mk IV coming so that should be almost enough Merkavas, unless someone brings out a 1/16 scale version of course. BlackMax12
Thanks Kev I have a Meng Merkava Mk IV coming and it has the anti-slip already on it so I hope it should turn out well. Take care, Lloyd
ancientmariner
If you were using VMS anti- slip, you need to use the standard one for a Merkava tank. An Abrams would use the scattered type. You tube video is excellent at showing the technique martin
