Beaufighter Prototype - Hasegawa Mk VI conversion 1/72

Recommended Posts

Thanks John, Chris (especially for the photos), Keith, Stew and Giorgio :)

I must say I'm looking forward to a 'relaxing build' on the Vulcan though...

What am I saying? It's deja vu all over again :D

The AK metal turned out very well thinned and sprayed through the airbrush, must add that to the memory bank. And I like the clever method of masking off the under wing serials on the black primer.

Wonderful result Ced, sorry I missed it until now!

brilliant work Ced. Sticking bits of metal together with hot metal too. I think you’ve levelled up! 🤩 she looks amazing. Really looking forward to the RFI.

Thanks for sharing such an ace WIP.

Thanks Cookie :) Yep, I'm finding the AK much better with some white spirit added; I'm dipping the brush point in some before brushing now too and it works a treat. Just a bit mind.

Thanks Johnny, very kind of you. I need more practice on setting up for the soldering but I got lucky this time :)
