Well done indeed - it can't be easy running a GB and completing 2 kits in the first 5 weeks - I wonder what else he may have up his sleeve... 🤔

Thanks Ray & BIG X.... funny how the moment I receive a little praise, I turn my back on BM and miss it all?

Apologies everyone, I've been a little busy around the house and haven't been able to find the usual amount of 'keyboard' time. I might have to get back to work to waste a few hours browsing - SSSHH!!  Don't tell the Boss!!

Now here's a fairly big update with some great kit starts and another four exquisite entries into the GB Gallery. I've had a recount of the models started and finished, so now think / hope that these numbers now look right.(?). I'll have to leave some comments within these builds little later + get back to that DHC Beaver!

New Builds

Hawker Typhoon - Lawzer

SS France - TonyW

Boeing B-29 Super Fortress - GREG DESTEC

Supermarine Spitfire BT-K Reissue - GREG DESTEC

Gallery Entry

Windmill - BIG X

Hawker Hunter F.6 - TonyW

Supermarine Spitfire (1/24) - Antb

Bristol Bulldog - bristol boy

The list is still short by one 1/76 Type 97 Chi Ha. I know I haven't updated my thread for a bit, but I'd still like to make the list :D

Sincere apologies Andy, no idea how I missed this since I did pick your 1974 quiz question way back when you started!

Consider it done my friend.

We have two additions, a Blenheim IV from 1968 with extra enhancement bits and Foxbat's 1974 Type 97 tank that I accidentally forgot to list early in the piece - apologies once again! We've now topped the 90 build mark, any chance we can raise this to 100?

Well, as you ought to know by now, I like the Battle of Britain. While I’ve built the Airfix new tool Hurricane and Spitfire, I also have stashed away the 1970s versions. They were originally destined for full aftermarket detailing for museum dioramas, but sadly that fell through. I also have the second version of the Westland Whirlwind, which just fits in my 1940 period, and just inside this GB cut-off.

I am just taking photos of the Spit and Hurri, and might start a thread or two later.

By my calculations, two newly-added builds - Jockney's Widgeon / Gosling and Heather's Spitfire Ia - are Nos 97 and 98 respectively....

.....so I'll jump in with a pair of Lynxes to make Nos 99 and the magic 100, though running concurrently in a single thread, if I may?

I have a Whirlwind fighter to add later, so it looks like we’ll tip over the ton. 👍

Some big news boys and girls...

This GB has just hit the 100 build mark and we now have our very first 1976 entries thanks to Andy and his pair of Lynx choppers. That'll make co-host Mike @Ventora3300 a happy camper!

Oh! - let's not forgot to mention another superbly built and photographed Gallery entry with TonyW's Prototype Lancaster. Very well modelled and displayed Tony.

HMS Fearless - Romeo Alpha Yankee

Westland Lynx (x2) - andyf117

Supermarine Spitfire Mk. 1a - Heather

Thanks again for the update, Dave. Yes, I would like to see all the years up to 1980 covered by a kit and I'm on the point of 'volunteering' to do a Bristol Fighter F.2B to fill in 1956 - just need to be confident that the Comet is going to be finished in time. Keep up the good work! Cheers. Mike
