Looks good! I like that they have provided with part of the frame work.

When my dad removed the mask, we both thought that the green looks too bright and somehow off. It is possible, that the Tamiya paint wasn´t original anymore and there was a mixed paint in the jar, which my dad didn´t know about anymore.

So he re-applied the masks and painted the model with a different green, a mix found in a modelling book, like with the Dark Earth.

DE was mixed with Tamiya XF-52, 62 and 58, DG with XF-65, 62 and 11

That green looks a lot better than the first one. I don't like to comment adversely about colours because (1) everyone's lighting is different and (2) I'm no angel myself. But I think it looks great now.

Adrian

I don't know if my dad stick exactly to the proposed formula but I guess more or less. I don' t have the book at hand right now, I'll get to you later in the evening and post the mix proportions 🙂

So, here you go

Dark Earth:

70% XF52 Flat Earth + 25% XF62  Olive Drab + 5% XF58 Olive Green

Dark Green:

40% XF65 Field Grey + 40% XF62 Olive Drab + 20% XF11 JN Green
