airfixpeter
I can't say anything bad about this kit as I had no problems in putting it together and I even had the Eduard cockpit upgrade for it but instead of taking the canopy down for masking I glued it shut so I have included a couple of the cockpit while under construction.

Spitfire31
Very smooth and proper Spitfire! On the nitty-gritty of authenticity, a parked Spit would typically have drooping elevators, unless a stick locking bar were installed (a rare occurrence). Virtually the only time the flaps were down would be during final approach for landing. They were retracted during taxying in, even, since they interfered with the engine cooling. If the flaps are shown down, the mechanical flap indicators on the wing upper surface would be raised… But a very nice looking model! Kind regards, Joachim
spitfire
Nice one, but then again it is a Spitfire. Cheers Dennis
