tempestfan
Good evening, I came across this two volume set by chance recently and have the possibility to buy it at an acceptable price. Owning Monsieur Dumas‘ three books on Richelieu/Jean Bart/Dunkerque, I wonder if the work on Courbet is similar? I am more an aircraft man but have a fascination for heavy metal, and have low resistance against books in the Anatomy of the Ship style. Also, is there a more recent version of the work on Courbet possibly reflecting new information? Not much sense spending serious money on a book when there’s an improved version that may (or may not...) be less expensive... Any response appreciated - please quote me as I usually hang around in the „upstairs“ sections of BM 😉 Edited May 23, 2018 by tempestfan One should spell a ship‘s name right if requesting info 🤥
tempestfan
Well, seems I can answer part of my question myself: There appears to be a relatively recent 2nd edition, which at the moment at least is considerably less expensive...
