The Red Baron 100 Years On

Here is my latest completed model, the very nice Eduard Profipack Fokker Triplane.  I started this build to mark the centenary of the death of von Richthofen on 21 April 1918.  My usual slow pace of building means I an almost on month late.  Brush painted with Citadel red - I think it is called something odd like Evilsunz scarlet or some such, over an undercoat of pink.  Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos of it in its undercoat, more Pink Panther than Red Baron!  Built OOTB using some of the PE provided with the kit, I did droop the elevator as most photos of DR1s show it drooping, also my first attempt at rigging, using thin fishing line.  Not perfect but I am happy with the result:

Nicely turned out little aeroplane, the deep red looks fantastic and you have done a really nice job on the propeller.
