Old Viper Tester
53-7792 of the 152nd Tactical Fighter Squadron, Arizona ANG, March 1984. Visiting the USAF Test Pilot School at Edwards AFB. It carried in the support element for a few A-7Ks being used for systems evaluation by Class 83B. 53-7814 of the 188th Tactical Fighter Squadron, New Mexico ANG, August 1980. Supporting detachment of the squadron's A-7Ds at Nellis AFB. One of their A-7s sported a similar tail motif during the US Bicentennial. 54-2806 of the 192nd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, Nevada ANG, June 1984. Supporting the detachment of RF-4Cs at Red Flag at Nellis. 55-0298 of the 173rd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, Nebraska ANG on the Edwards transient ramp October 1983. 55-0300 late of the 190th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Idaho ANG. Awaiting restoration and display at the Hill AFB museum, August 1990. 57-2552 of the 176th Tactical Air Support Squadron, Wisconsin ANG on the Nellis transient ramp, October 1981. BuNo 141007, "City of Las Vegas" assigned to the Naval Air Station North Island (NORIS) Naval Air Reserve Unit. Taxiing out at Nellis, November 1980. BuNo 145962, US Marine Corps, at Nellis AFB, November 1980. Artsy sunset effect quite by happenstance. Would like a decent 1/72 injection kit of the C-131, though I understand the Proteus (Welsh Models?) mixed-media kits are quite good. Thanks for looking, Sven 17

Smudge
The Mach2 kit is on my list of 'kits I would like to have'. I just need to work up the courage! Lovely collection of pictures, thank you.
stevehnz
Nice photos of a handsome aeroplane, especially the radar nosed ones. I had to google where the Samaritan name came from, early ones being Medivac aircraft as I read it. Thanks for the insight into bygone days again, I enjoy them. 72modeler
Sure do miss seeing them, C-45's, and C-47's parked on ramps at almost every CONUS airbase back in the day; The Nebraska ANG C-131 is especially pretty. Thanks for sharing these, Sven! Mike
