Seamus
Morning all, Thought I'd share a selection of images from a superb weekend down on Dartmoor shooting the Merlins supporting Ten Tors. This is always a highlight of my year that presents some unique photo opportunities, and this year we decided to make a full weekend of it. Saturday was spent playing it safe around the HLS, with both cabs very active during the day. A fine day all round despite the general lack of sunshine. Turned out to be a wise decision, resulting in the best day out with the camera I've ever head. Just an obscene day! Seahawk
Superb photos. Given the amount of close-up detail useful for modelling purposes (aerial fits and the like), perhaps worth adding as a Walkround folder?

Robin
Excellent pictures, agree with Seahawk that they show well the external differences between the HC3A and HC3i mark of Merlin. Robin.

Seamus
Thanks all, glad they were of interest. Much of the reason of post my images here is so they can be used as reference, so hopefully these are of use given the state some of these Merlins are in! 'Charlie' and 'Alpha Charlie' are currently operated by 845NAS. 846 NAS stepped in for the last couple of hours of the Sunday with 'Bravo' and 'Kilo (not pictured) as the 845 cabs had to return to Yeovilton. Thanks again, Shaun

Thanks again, Shaun Thanks for the info. Two cabs with 'Charlie' as side codes. That'll confuse the **** out of the grubbers..! !
