richellis
This is completed now, its an Italeri Scania cut to a low roof day cab, scratch built chassis with KFS axles and suspension and the fantastic KFS hook loader set, this works and pick and tips the skip as the real truck does. Decals from DodgersDecals on Facebook, highly recomended. brianthemodeller
That is superb and the weathering is spot on! So good to see a model of a real workhorse and not just a fancy tractor unit!
Unfinished project
Just found this post. What a very realistic built and weathered looking Scania. Some serious skills displayed here 👍

Bullbasket
Great build and well weathered. If you put a load in it, to make it more realistic, don't put a net over the load so that the rubbish can fly all over the place as it drives down the road. John. richellis
Thanks, it should get a load at some point, I need some realistic 1/24 rubbish first!
Windy37
Great looking truck . I work on a landfill site and we get Veolia skip trucks on like this . It's quite scary when they tip up and the load sticks in , with the whole truck swaying about with the skip high up in the air . . Nice to see a tow ar on the front there . It's amazing how many trucks come to us , get stuck , need a tow , then can't find their tow hook !!!!! Landfill sites certainly sort out good drivers and trucks . DAFs and Scanias seem best , Volvos not so good . Gary .

Gary29
LOVE this! My dad was a Veolia driver, driving 8 wheeler hook lifts like this until he retired a couple of years ago. He was always a Volvo man though. You nailed it.

Thanks for the comments, got this in progress too but not put any pics up as there isn’t a lot of interest in trucks
