Injection moulded WW1 pilots

I was surprised to see these for sale at HLJ. Are they the first set of injection moulded, 1/32, WW1 aviation figures? Modelkasten has a small but eccentric range of figure models.

Yep, quite Hollywood. I think the Encore figures are resin.

I was mostly impressed that a company invested in the hard tooling to injection mould WW1 aviation figures. Eduard has done so in 1/48th scale but these must be the first in 1/32.

They have a second set too which is even better because it includes a ladder and a dachshund. :dog:

That is very interesting and somewhat of a challenge to think up a scenario for a diorama that includes a small dog, a set of ladders, a strapping mechanic, nurse and a louche looking officer type?  That is quite and gathering the pilot has attracted.

They look fine to me , but put up against resin figs  , some shallow and less defined areas do show up.

Basically the diff between the two production techniques.

I still got them and added them to my fig sets.

Have you seen these.

I'm interested in some of their other sets but it looks nicely sculpted..

Yes, I have a couple of their figures and they are excellent. They are resin though, not injection moulded plastic.
